Big Red’s Red Corn Lager! After a bit of a hiatus, we’re finally back to working with one of our favourite adjuncts: corn. Using a traditional cereal mash to try and get as *natural* a flavour from the corn as possible, we worked with a 150 year old red corn varietal that Caleb grew on his farm @sugarcreekmaltco. While the colour didn’t transfer over quite as much as our Purple Corn Lager, the taste absolutely does. Red tortilla chips maybe? From a freshly opened bag? As you know we simply do not do tasting notes.
