Can from Beer52 as part of their Pennsylvania box. This one at 6%. Pours black, small beige head, a little fizzy with modest retention. Big peanut aroma which dominates, some roast and chocolate notable. Taste starts with peanut but gives way to more notable chocolate and caramel, somewhat sweet and buttery but then a roasty mid-bitter finish. Medium bodied, fine zingy carbonation. Very good.
The most cinco de mayo beer in my fridge. As in, there really isn't much CDM beer. Happy beers, yall!

Can to glass. Dark brown to black with light brown head. Malty caramel sniff and taste. Reminds me of a chocolate malt ball. Like a whopper with an artificial peanut butter flavor. Good happy hour brew.

355ml can (6% ABV) vis Beer52; BBE May 2023. Poured into a Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home on 11th March 2023. Not purple, but deep ruby in colour, full on beige head that tried to last. Nice sweet chocolate and nutty feel to this one, lacks depth (because of the drop in ABV most likely), which is a shame because it needs that extra 'oomph' and slickness it sadly didn't have in the weak UK version.

Strong peanut and hull nose, charred oak. Black, thin tan head. Charcoal, peanut highlights. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Pours reddish black with a thick creme head. Aroma of candied malt. Taste has chocolate, caramel, some peanut butter. Palate has more peanut butter on the tongue, lingering cocoa notes on the nose. Sweet.
Dark brown body small off white head. Roast nutty earthy aroma. Roasty nutty chocolate flavor. Medium body moderate carbonation. 7/4/8/4/15 3.8

Can from beer 52 (6%) – drank at home. Pours a vewry dark burgundy with a large frothy, but transient, beige head. The aroma has peanuts overlaid with chocolate. In the mouth it’s pretty much the same but here there are also traces of malts and root beer. Overall it’s fairly sweet, and the finish is quite malty. It’s OK – better than I expected actually since I don’t like peanut butter !
