Can from beer 52 (6%) – drank at home. Pours a vewry dark burgundy with a large frothy, but transient, beige head. The aroma has peanuts overlaid with chocolate. In the mouth it’s pretty much the same but here there are also traces of malts and root beer. Overall it’s fairly sweet, and the finish is quite malty. It’s OK – better than I expected actually since I don’t like peanut butter !

Can from Beer52. Black body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of peanut butter, rye bread and chocolate. Flavour of peanut, earth and dark chocolate. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. The aroma is right on the money. The flavour is good but it’s a little thin. I really liked it.

[12oz can at 6% ABV from Beer52.] An opaque cola brown pour with a thick beige head; peanut butter aroma; chocolate syrup taste with a stodgy peanut butter body; and lingering peanut butter taste. Evil yes, genius no.

Rocky light brown head on a still dark brown coloured body. Chocolate & peanut butter aroma (see the label) Medium bodied, fizzy on the tongue with a clean back. Peanut butter, chocolate (as per label) & bitter citrus tastes with a tangy finish. Nothing special - too gassy.

Pours near black with a small tan head. It smells of peanut butter, roast malt, and chocolate. The well balanced flavor has chocolatey dark roast malt and ample peanut butter. Very good.
