Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee roast, milk chocolate and some dark chocolate with some maple notes and an even lighter dusting of coconut
Flavor: does a nice job of blending the prior noted aromas to a sweet to roasty and semi-toasty to bready quality: finishes chocolatey, coconutty and slightly maple-y
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; sturdy smoothness, light dryness
Overall: as much as I love maple in beers so many brewers end up putting in too much and those beers become a cloying mess so great job Evil Twin in keeping the maple level at the right amount

A rich deep tan head on a near black body. Chocolate fudge, dark berries and brandy on the nose. Creamy chocolate, field berries, vanilla, brandy, serious coconut, toffee and roasted malt are all there in this sumptuous blend. Cherries start to pop out more as the beer approaches room temperature. A medium to full body, creamy texture and slightly sticky mouth feel all work for me! Top edge.

Can from the lcbo. Jet black pour, with a large dark brown head. Aroma is loaded with dark, rich roasty malts. Huge notes of coffee, a subtle sweetness and some outstanding soft, sweet, satisfying coconut. Mouth feel is luscious, and soft with a delicate carb. Medium bitter finish, loads of milk chocolate, more coconut and dark espresso and huge roast. Great beer.

Can from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is dark malt, lots of coconut, chocolate, roast, maple syrup, mocha, caramel fudge, notes of vanilla, espresso and liquorice. Flavour is sweet with some roasty bitterness and a little warming booze. Body is full. Lovely coconut-heavy Stout with the maple syrup coming through nicely, supplemented by lots of roast, chocolate dessert flavours. Delicious.

Black with a medium short lived brown head. Aroma of coconut, chocolate and some dark fruit sense. Sweet with a warm coconut, chocolate, spices and some alc. End. Full body.

Bortimot helt svart med brunt skum. Lukter lønnesirup, kokos og sjokolade. Fyldig. Smaker røstet malt, kaffe, kokos. lønnesirup. Noe lakris i avslutningen.

Can thanks to Kristy. Pours black with medium tan head. The aroma is strong roast, coconut, dark chocolate, maple, booze. Thick body, roast, cocoa, burnt maple, bitter finish, very good.
