Can at home shared with Dad, Fathers Day 2018, from Wine Rack, Henley, 17th June 18. Pours black and oily. Aroma is chocolate, booze, maybe coconut. Taste is bitter chocolate, booze, caramel, coffee, coconut on the finish, don't get too much maple syrup, a slight murkiness. Good impy

Can shared at craft beer Co Covent Garden. Many thanks to Daniel Osprey for this one. An oily black brown coloured pour with no head. Aroma is hot chocolate oily, paint, caramel.. Flavour is composed of praline, caramel, hop burn, spicy chocolate. Burn. Palate is full, oily, moderate carbonation.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, thin tan head. Smooth palate, mildly soft and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, little dark chocolate, plenty of chocolate biscuit. Little tangy mapls drizzled fruits on the band end and a light touch of coconut. Smooth and slightly spicy. Nicely joined up and very drinkable for it's big abv.

Can split at CBC St Giles, 30/05/18, thanks to The Osprey. Pith black with a solid dirty tan covering that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is rich roast, liquorice, chocolate, spice, toffee. Taste comprises sweet malts, syrup, chocolate, light charr, hint of Bounty Bar, toffee fudge, mellow roast, pecan pie. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light warming boost. Decent impy.

Can shared in London - cheers to danny. Pours black with a small, creamy tan head. Restrained aroma, chocolate, burnt grains. Medium to big sweet flavour, lots of dark berries, dense roast. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, oily chocolate, ashy, dried berries. Good stuff.

Aroma: Dark malt, maple syrup, vanilla. Roasted.
Taste: Very dark malt, roasted, some coffee and chocolate. Sweet. Vanilla and coconut coming through.

Can 1pt. @ home. [ As Evil Twin Even More Coco Jesus ].Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, chocolate, caramel - fudge, muscovado sugar, maple syrup, coconut, moderate coffee, roasted, light molasses. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt bitter, chocolate, maple syrup, muscavado sugar, coconut, caramel - fudge, moderate to light alcoholic. 1 pint can. Pours sludgy black with a deep brown head. Coconut, chocolate, dark bounty, sugar, molasses, booze, maple syrup (especially as it warms), more chocolate. Not too sweet. Perhaps a touch too much boozy heat. Otherwise very nice.
