Bamberg war früher einer der größten Hopfenhandelsplätze in Deutschland und der Böhmische Hopfen galt zu Grasers Zeiten als besonders hochwertig. Beim Hellen Lagerbier sorgt Böhmischer Aromahopfen für eine ausgeprägte Hopfennote. Zum Brauen verwenden wir außerdem besonders weiches Wasser, das vor dem Brauvorgang enthärtet wird. Das Ergebnis ist ein süffiges Lagerbier mit angenehmer Bittere, rund und weich im Aroma und beinahe cremig im Mund.

Cask at zum fransiscaner, Stockhlm.
Huge white head.
Opaque solid golden color.
Grainy malt aroma.
Low bitterness and a medium body.

Cloudy golden, white head.
Neutral grainy nose
Medium mellow body, light grain, a bit fruit, a bit cake, dust, light fizz, but restrained hops.
Interesting, certainly less hoppy than they are dialed in to these days, but nice balance.

Tap at Wirtshaus Graser. Golden, a tad hazy. Summer, but a pretty neutral one, damp, edgy. Spritzy and front heavy, rather sweet. Needs more chewy more hhmpf but still drinkable.
