Poured into a pint glass at the brewpub, the appearance was a soft looking dark bronzed burnt orange to amber color with a sly film of a white little cap of a head. No lace.
The aroma takes on some light citrusy to spicy hops. Undertones of sweet crisp malt.
The flavor balances between aromatic crisp spicy hops and the citrusy hops. Malts, once again, play underneath. Slight toast with some clean grassiness. No aftertaste. Quick sweet hoppy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Crisp sweet maltiness cleanly rides along my tongue fairly nicely.
Overall, nice APA, I'd bang again.
