Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a mildly burnt brown color with a finger’s worth of white to off white foamy head. Dies off at a decent pace. Moderately stringy lace.
The aroma had some milk chocolate up front, then roasty coffee bean. The mint, well, it’s there, somewhat, but super far underneath.
The flavor leans towards the sweet side initially with the milk chocolate up front. Roastiness follows in. The mint, once again, well, actually, this time, it seems more just herbal. Light chocolatey to roasty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV feels on par.
Overall, well, the chocolate and the coffee beans are there, but the mint (if that is mint), well, it’s obscure to say the least.
