Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark amber color almost brown but not quite. Film of a coated white head. No lace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee malty sweetness up front. Light earthy spice. Some grassiness.
The flavor yielded to the sweet malts. Light sort of malty aftertaste hitting the finish in the same manner.
The feel was between light and medium on the body with a fairly sessionable quality about it. Soft carbonation and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, decent brown ale. A bit more sessionable than expected but definitely could be construed as a \"session brown ale.\"
