India Pils Lager
Our spring seasonal offering brewed with 100 percent positive vibrations and single-hopped with Citra hops. The presence of the Citra hop is elevated by a clean fermenting lager yeast that allows the subtle Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts to lay a crisp, bready foundation. The citrus and tropical fruit character of the Citra hop comes from kettle additions followed by a huge dose of ‘em again in the fermenter.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks zvikar. Hazy yellow with a nice white head. Lovely hoppy aroma full of tropical fruits, citrus and a bit of grass. Flavor has light graininess, a sweetish note, fruity hops and nice bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very good and refreshing.

At holly wood gardens, nice place. Except for the aroma, this comes across more like an IPA than a lager. Looks like a pale lager tho.

12oz bottle from Orchard Fresh, Orchard Park, NY. Hazy pale amber with a creamy white head; citrusy aroma with some hints of lemongrass; grapefruit taste and a creamy body; and a fresh finish. Rather good.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 4/13/14

Aroma: The aroma is citrus hops, clean pale malts, fresh and tangy, with some light pepper notes
Appearance: It pours a cloudy, bright, golden-orange color with a thick, frothy, lasting, white head
Flavor: Taste-wise, it has some light sweetness, and a nice, tangy, citrus hop bitterness
Palate: This one drinks nicely, smooth feel, average-plus carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
Overall Impression: Shockingly good. First off, not many beers have a nicer looking pour, and from there it stays great. This is a really, really nice beer. I had no expectations for this one, but I really enjoyed it.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy pale gold color. Huge Rocky white head. Exquisite clinging lace. Wonderful perfumy citra hop nose. First sip brings a mix of complex sweet toasted malt and lemony hops. Slightly sulphury and yeasty as you reach the midtaste. This a big hoppy brew that doesn’t overwhelm the palate. Beautiful balance and amazing quafability. Finishes slightly sweet with a touch of pink grapefruit. All in all, a splendid effort.

12oz bottle pours a hazy, straw yellow with lots of frothy white head. Nose is awesome, bright lemon peel lemon juice, very grassy, straw, some lime, lots of dank hop pellet. Flavor is strong too, more orange than lemon this time around, grassy, lime, zesty, chive, mild sweetness. Crisp, grassy finish. Really drinkable. Wow, really nice.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a slightly hazy medium straw color with a huge tightly bubbled bone white head that persists forever being constantly fed buy a stream of carb bubbles. Aromas of floral, pine, grass, citrus, and a hint of sulfur atop a light bready pilsner malt base. The flavor is very light crackery malt with a fair amount of spicy earthy citrusy hops. Hop bitterness is quite present as there is little in the way of malt body to counter it. Light body with a moderate to high level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Smells pretty damn good, tastes ok but really needs a hint more body for my tastes.

If you drank the piss straight from the cat it would taste and smell just like this. +++ Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a vibrant yellow-golden color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was very strong cat piss, pine and more cat piss. The flavor was very strong cat piss, pine, pepper and more cat piss. Long cat piss finish. medium body. Amazingly foul!

Thanks to ThirstyBird for this one!
Pale golden colour, nice white head. The beer starts as flowery-hoppy and fresh as the nose appears. Very nice typical citra-flavours - fresh green and grassy hops, nice hints of lemon. Ab very dry and very hop-based beer with a mild and nice bitterness. I like especially that there is nearly no sweetness or maltiness that could coincide and "harm" the great hop characteristics! The aftertaste is long, hoppy-intense, smooth, bloomy-flowery with a great citrus-fresh aftertaste that lasts long on the tongue.
Better can’t even be an IPA - a really great hoppy beer! --> 15/13/14/15
