12 oz. can, pours a cloudy dark amber / maroon with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out loads of woody resinous hops -- not getting a whole lot else. Flavour is along the same lines with the woody resinous hops upfront, followed by bitter citrus from the oranges, and a dry but thick bready malt backing. Quite bitter, with a nice woody feel to the palate. Very solid IIPA, just nothing special.

Purchased at a small grocery store in Honolulu, HI, enjoyed after doing a bunch of stuff on Oahu on a gorgeous sunny winter day. Appearance is a darkish lightly redish hue with a rich white head. Aroma is both hoppy and tropical, smells pretty good. Taste is pretty damn good, definitely sweet in the end with the citrus from the blood orange, with a nice bitterness that is relatively potent. Definitely would recommend this one.

Pour is a red-ish with a small white head. Aroma is not very hoppy but there is plenty of citrus note from the oranges. Flavor is again not overly hoppy for a impy IPA but there is a huge orange juice flavor with a almost woody flavor. As a IPA this was below par but as a fruit beer with that fresh blast of blood orange this was above par.

12 oz can poured. Pours a copper color with a big foam head. Fresh orange slices and lemon aroma. This beer tastes like it is blended with orange juice. Would be great for a breakfast beer. Nice juicy orange, and citrus flavor. Nice hops. Fun beer. Solid double.

On draft at Hops and Pie in Denver. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Flavors of orange and grapefruit. Bitter finish.

Hazy Amber color. Big grapefruit, pine and pale malt nose. The mouth is a bit sour, full body, but feels a bit off. Don’t like the mouthfeel. Modest hops, but the beer feels a bit worn out, but then I realized that there is a local fruit used in the beer. I would say bad idea, or at least I didn’t like the addition of the local fruit. Kinda weird fruity aftertaste with modest bitterness.

Tap at the 2014 OBF as Lorenzini Blood Orange DIPA.Pours hazy amber with a creamy beige head. Strong hop aroma. Med body. Flavor is sort of bitter orange rind over caramel. Hoppy, bitter, tasty.

A hazed dark amber ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth caramel malt with nice piney and resinous hops, very balanced. In mouth, good caramel with fruity notes, piney floral hops, good alcohol warmth, very nice. On tap at Pint + Jigger.
