We included some aromatic rose water in the mash tun and hopped this brew lightly in the kettle with Cryo Mosaic. During the whirlpool rest we added some hibiscus and rose petals for additional color and flavor contribution.

We pitched a special saison yeast strain to ferment this floral farmhouse ale and it imparted a delicate tartness alongside fruity esters and very subtle, background phenolics.

Bed of Roses pours a light pink hue into a glass and forms a white crown of foam. It drinks with a light body with a nice prickle of effervescence followed by a dry, refreshing finish.

We get notes of bouquet of roses, brut rosé, hibiscus, fresh hydrangeas, peppery spice, tart cranberry, white grape, and sparkling cider.
