Sampled at Ace & Kees festival. Older vintage. Dark brown with big beige head. Lots of oak, bourbon, sweet red berries, light herbs, chocolate, dry oats, earthy wood. Over medium sweet, medium bitter and light tart. Over medium bodied with slick feel.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of rich bourbon, chocolate, caramel fudge, coconut, red fruit and sweet coffee, really delicious. Taste has rich caramel fudge, bourbon vanilla, oak, red fruit, sticky molasses, coconut and oat. Soft mouthfeel, long finish. So soft, elegant and flavorful, they have really mastered barrel aging. Fantastic.

Medium to creamy body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark roasted malts, with tobacco, rum raisins, prunes and muscovado, as well as wooden barrels.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark sugar, marshmallows, butterscotch, lactose, caramel, oak, mild bourbon, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is slightly sweet mineraly, oak, bourbon, weeds, dark sugar, grass, butterscotch, lactose, bark, vanilla, booze, burnt toast, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough, kind of boring.
