Flaske fra polert i Verksgata, Stavanger: mørk rubin/rav med fint filmskum. Aroma og smak godt moden citrus, karamell og en nøtteaktig bitterhet. Fin kropp og lang ettersmak. Øl og idrett (en sunn sjel i et sunt legeme), eller en hyllest til en av Bergens store sønner? Godt øl uansett!

Bottle. An unclear, brown beer with a dense, finger-thick light beige head. The aroma is lightly malty, with a pleasant piney and citrus peel touch. Coffee hints. It’s full-bodied and soft on the palate, semi-sweet and with a nice carbonation level. Bitterness, crystal malts, bread crusts, citrus and pine cones in the flavor. Lasting finish with the bitterness trumping the malts. Pleasant, easy drinkable and tasteful. Moreish. 150411

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy reddish brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - grapefruit. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 100415

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours slightly hazy light copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of citrus and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with citric and fruity touches. Bitter and citric aftertaste. Well-balanced and quite enjoyable.

Fra fat på Ølhallen 12 Mar 15. Mørk aprikosfarget. Lavt, tett skum. Tynn lacing. Behagelig ferskenaroma. Smaken balansert. Mer fersken. Svakt syrlig ettersmak. Bra øl men litt tynt.

33cl bottle from Vinmonopolet Storo. Pours clear dark amber with an off-white head. Hoppy and caramelly aroma with pine, dark fruits, malt and some bready notes. Sweet, caramelly and malty with nice hoppy flavours and decent bitterness. A bit too sweet for my liking, but well quite balanced and enjoyable.
