This beer was inspired and brewed for the 2021 Big Read campaign. With the main character of the book an avid botanist we decided to infuse a brand new Amber ale recipe with Colorado Spruce tips. Ever so delicate in the nose, subtle but defined in the taste, the spruce is there without being overpowering. The use of European malts really balances out the Spruce notes.
