This Imperial stout is a combo of 3 stouts aged in highland, lowland and speyside barrels for over a year.
Along side Cocao and smoked Mexican chillis
Expect Scottish whisky flavours along with fruity & mild smokey chilli’s, Chocolate, wood and booze,
did I mention this was aged in whisky barrels?

440ml can from Wee Beer Shop, Pollokshaws Road - Jet black, lasting creamy tan head. Loads of smoky whisky character, warm chocolate chilli, roasted malts, liquorice, dangerously drinkable.

Can from the Oban Beer Seller. Pours oily black with a thick tan head. Aromas of whisky and chocolate. Taste has the spice heat. Nicely done.

Can at home, 18th January 2026. Pours black and thick, aroma has barrel, peaty whisky, chocolate, for the flavour - Excellent layers on this one , first the whiskey, then the chocolate and a little chilli hit in the finish - this brewery excels with this style - great stuff, although not the best from them, in my view
