Our decadent Oatmeal Stout lovingly aged in Bourbon barrels. Beautiful chocolate, espresso and vanilla-bourbon aromas hold your nose hostage. Rich dark chocolate truffle, bourbon and espresso create a dangerously smooth and incredibly drinkable barrel aged Oatmeal Stout. Hoarding tendencies may occur.

Bottle @ RBBSG 2014. Thanks omgrich! Black colour, dark brown foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of roasted malts with lots of cocoa, vanilla and bourbon. Well balanced but a bit too much sweetness.

Draft at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, Session 2. Pours deep, black-brown with a fine, tan cream head. Dark malts in the nose with light chocolate and berry accents. Medium sweet flavor with jammy, dark berries, toffee, milk chocolate, minimal bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and oily texture. Sweet to finish, some sugary chocolate, more ripe and sugary fruits, berries. Very tasty, just a bit one-sided.

Comes together very well. It has this velvety touch that makes for a great dry and smooth feel. Pours dark brown without much head or lacing. Oat balances out the barrel, roast isnβt that evident. Some vanilla. Tap at Churchkey takeover.
