Pretty good, its been awhile since I've regularly drunk porters and stouts so it was nice to get back to this sort of thing. This one struck me as a good robust porter, notable roasty nose and flavor, the coffee didn't seem to come through quite so much, but hints of it were there, and thats fine. I don't have much to say about it but it was fine.

3 week old bottle A: Black pour with 1/2 of tan head that fell fast. S: Lots of coffee with a hint of cocoa. T: Heavy coffee and some toffee with light roast and faint hops providing bitterness. M: Light medium bodied and fairly well carbonated finishing fairly dry. O: Good coffee flavor without tasting burnt. Pretty nice.

The Aromas are coffee dark malt roast in minerals. Body is a touch on the thin side with a very fizzy had that subsides quickly. Flavors are like nose a little sweet up front with a mildly bitter finish enhanced by the carbonation. A decent enough beer but nothing too special.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is a mild coffee with an equally mild chocolate and roast. Flavor is again a very mild coffee with some roasted malt and not much else. Everything in this beer was way low key. As a porter this was ok, the adjuncts used did not stand out.

Bottle from Trader Joe's. Pours a deep brown to black with a small bit of head that dissipates quickly. Big roasty coffee ground nose, slight chicory. Thin on the palate, dark chocolate. Slightly sour. Light lingering coffee roast.

Delicious coffee porter with deep, roasty veins of chocolate and java. Mild herbal bitterness on the finish. Damn tasty.

Bottle from Total Wines, Sterling, VA. Dark brown with a decent, beige, head. Rich coffee bean aroma and taste, avoiding any jarring bitterness. Also had some plain chocolate and a trace of leafy hop, before a dryish finish.

Bottle during RBWG Booze Buse 20/02/15, did I bring this one ? If not thanks to whomever. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is coffee grinds, chocolate, roast malt, toffee, light spice. Taste comprises rich roasted vibes, chocolate malt, spice, molasses, strokes of tarte fruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent coffee lead porter.

Bottle shared during RBWG 2015 - Tampa. Pours clear brown with a foamy beige head. Rich coffee throughout, with earthy hops and dry cocoa. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry on the finish, moderately roasty, with further coffee and bittersweet chocolate. Nice beer.
