Draught. Poured amber with mild head. Taste was i guess a pretty plain sessionable ale.

Can to mug, the appearance was a burnt copper/slight amber color with a fingerβs worth of white foamy head. Messy lace.
The aroma had some toffee/caramel malt cake-like quality. Some grassy hops, light leather, touch of floral and dried leaves came about.
The flavor was moderately sweet and dry maltiness punching the aftertaste with a little bit of floral. Finish was dry, floral and semi-sweet.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt low, but good, I expected that. ABV cues up appropriately.
Overall, pretty good Irish ale, still needs a bit more or some herbal quality to it.

Easy drinking, with just a touch of coppery bitterness. Dark amber pour without any head or lacing. Light bitter finish. OK. Tap at world of beer.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel and toffee. Taste, to my mind, was OK, but something was slightly off. This beer lacked that special something that I like in Irish ales. Canβt really put my finger on it, but I finished this quickly to get it over with.

On tap at Barley and Hops. Pours a deep reddish copper hue with a medium white head. A light nose of malt and fruity hops. The flavor is dry, rich earthy citrus malts, smooth light bitter and fruity hops. Nice.

Hah! Got this from a friend at the Beer Store who poured it into a quart plastic milk bottle from a tap; drank soon after, heheh. Very big pour, more than a bomber. Not much carbonation on the tongue but I donβt hold any grudges due to the container. A mildly browner pale lager thing or the same color as many dark american lagers. Odd fruity wierd thing hiden behind some leathery notes of sorts.Interestingly roasty in its own way. Has an βoldβ feel to it. Very happy that I got a chance to taste this on tap. Perhaps noty as bitter as the IBUs indicate. Seems less than the staed 5.6+%. Quite a beer. Tastes better after the sewssion goes on.

Dark red with a big ol’ head on this one. Citrus fruits, light pine, fresh, with light malts. Flavor is similar. Thin and bubbly body. Thought this one was sort of bland, not bad, though.
