Can, 0.5l. Murky deep brown, almost black pour, three finger creamy brown head, medium retention, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, malty, roasty, caramel, dark chocolate. Subtle hoppy notes in the background.
Medium body, soft carbonation, mild fizzy. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, sticky. Nicely balanced roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma of caramel malt, herbal candy, bread. Dark chocolate, light herbal notes. Subtle lingering alcohol. Nice citrus hoppy touch makes this one borderline stout / black IPA. Long lasting finish, dry, sticky, roasty. Lingering bitterness.
Quite tasty.

Pours oily jet-black color with one finger of frothy brown head, good, retention. Chocolate, roasty and citrusy aroma. Roasty, chocolate, quite citrussy flavor, with a herbal bitterness and a dry finish. Higher ABV than a classic american stout with more citrus in flavor.

Can at Goblet ZG, with Karlo, who was initially going for the Rumkugel, but after finding out it was ancient and Veco wasn't too thrilled about it, decided to switch. I mean, I picked both randomly, so fair game to him. Let's see how this one went... black body, off-whtie head. Chocolatey malty notes blending well with citric and herbal hoppiness, distinct, pleasantly old-school and bordering on black IPA. Smooth, dryish, bit roasty taste, lower maltiness than I though it would be, with enough citric annd herbal hops. This is quite fine I have to say, glad to see Pivionica heading in this direction again!
