Any of the avenging deities in Greek mythology who torment criminals and inflict plagues, that just about sums the amount of heat from the three different types of chili peppers, Habanero, Ghost Peppers, and Trinidad Moruga Scorpion used in making this. That spice is balanced by sweet honey notes that linger after the finish.

bottle-still-clear yellow. A-honey, slight pepper. T-balanced honey and pepper. The pepper does build.

Pale yellow. a tiny bit of carb.I only get a very faint pepper aroma. nose is mostly dominated by honey. just a tiny pepper aroma. Honey and some strange sweet honeydew melon up front. Then in the middle, there’s this intense pepper taste that continues and lingers long after swallowing. Intense pepper! but not awful. wish it was less sweet

500 ml bottle sampled at Brian’s Grand Mead tasting, nearly forgot to rate this during the whirlwind of mead. Clear golden color. Aroma is of light honey with a hint of spicy pepper. Really light pepper. Flavor is a moderate about of honey that slowly transitions into a light pepper spice.

. The mouthfeel has a nice sweetness to help balance the peppers. The pepper seem to gradually build after a few sips. By the end of my 4 oz, I noticed the slowly growing pepper heat. Yet the honey does manage to balance it rather well. I liked this much more than I would have guessed.

4 oz pour from a bottle at ChurchKey shared by Travlr, thanks Gene! Clear straw yellow, no head. Aromas of new shoes and rubber. Tastes of light pepper heat, apples. Light body with a dry and slightly warm finish. Pretty underwhelming on the heat.
