A Resignation Recipe Brewed In Collaboration with Redhook. A toast lager with notes of chocolate and coffee. Unlike a heavy porter or a stout it’s amazingly light, crispy, and sessionable. KCCO Black is a delicious misfit.

I love me some kcco nice work on making a beer with the same name. 12oz bottle pours out brown topped with a small sand head. Nose is grain light roast notes and some grassy hops. Taste is more of the light roast malts and a light hop.

Appealing purple color, garnet tinted brown kinda. Smallish head. Fairly accurate and typical schwarzbier, light chocolate/coffee nose, faint caramel-malt sweet smell. Flavor is semi-dry, with that nice dry cocoa finish, light nuttiness and a bit of cereal grain. No roast.
