Bio pils uit eigen streek, gemaakt van niks anders dan gerst, water en hop. Fris, licht en lekker sprankelend als een prachtige Limburgse zomerochtend. Alle ingrediënten komen uit een straal van maximaal 25 mijl om onze brouwerij. Dat doen we al dertig jaar, en het is tof dat sommige boeren nu helemaal biologisch zijn. Trots op. Bio pilsner heeft een beetje extra hop, en dat maakt het superfris. Een dorstlesser waar je zorgeloos van kunt genieten.

Hoppy nose. Clear golden, frothy white head, good lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, bread, light citrus, dough, grassy hops. Taste opens with light sweetness followed by medium bitterness, clean and smooth. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, medium dry bitter finish, nice.

Schöne gold-leuchtende Farbe, mildwürziger Geruch. Der Antrunk ist leicht süßlich-herb, schöne Hopfenaromatik, die im Hauptteil deutlich zunimmt. Die süße nimmt leicht ab, schöner typischer Pilsgeschmack mit im Nachgeschmack angenehm aromatischer Herbe. --> leckeres Bio-Pils

30cl brown bottle, Ur-Pilsner: best before Feb 2013. Poured into a Duvel glass @ home on 7th Nov 2012. Looks like all the other Pilsner/Lagers in the world: clean, clear, bright and golden, the snow white head tried to stay around. Corn, metallic notes and cardboard in the nose: luckily it has a strange undertone of flavours that helped to counteract the aromas. Within the taste I found semi-sweet maltiness and a mild hop bitterness vieing for domination with the malts winning at first, the hops coming into their own as the mouth drys. This was a lot more complexed than I first thought. Body depth was fine (for a Pilsner) and the carbonisation was good, one of the better Pilsners I’ve had for a while.

30 cl.bottle @ home, bought @ Coop. Golden yellow with a white head. Hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste with lively carbonation, good bitter aftertaste. all in all a full bodied pilsener.
