Interesting one. Rich marshmallows, vanilla, cocoa, roast. Novel.

Black topped with a khaki head.
Nose is chocolate shavings, sugars, molasses, mellow roast.
Taste comprises molasses, overly sweet and artificial, hint of vanilla, chocolate.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
Passable ... lacked any depth or complexity ... expected more.

440ml can. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small to average, frothy to creamy, fading, tan head. Chocolately, minimally roasty, dark malty, slightly nutty and minimally spicy aroma, hints of vanilla, toasted coconut, chocolate sauce and coffee, some caramel, whiffs of tonka and brown sugar, overtones of wafers, cookie dough. Taste is sweet-ish, chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty, slightly nutty and spicy, doughy and minimally alcoholic, notes of cookie dough, hints of chocolate, coffee, vanilla, toasted coconut, a touch of brown sugar, caramel, tonka; slightly warming, alcoholic finish.
Viscous texture, smooth and soft, cloying palate, fine, creamy, soft to flat carbonation.
Well composed and executed Imperial Pastry Stout, nothing to complain about; but more coffee, less vanilla in the mix should have met my penchant better.
