Thick yellowish cream head, utterly stable thanks to lively carbonated dark brown beer. End of bottle UFO-laden. Saffron obvious whilst pouring. Nutty, firewood, roast, sweetish smelling. Laurel and banananpeel. Sourish rather in taste, faintly smoky as from tobacco. Woodburn, roast. The saffron is there, if very subdued. Yeast, and I fear infection here indeed. Dry; warming up gets soupy. Medium bodied, probably a very light acidthinning. Lively carbonated, slick. Though this one remains acceptable, that's three out of four Danny beers that prove infected.
