Brewed with New Zealand Motueka and Pacific Jade hops, providing lemon-lime citrus notes, followed by a tropical fruit finish. The use of these hops creates a softer bitterness while retaining the bite of an IPA.

Poured from an undated 16 oz can. Aroma is moderately malt with some light caramel and slightly toasted bread with some biscuit and cracker as well. Medium light fruity notes with some stone fruit, pear, tropical fruit and citrus. Pours a slightly hazy, copper orange with a medium small, medium thin, white head that recedes steadily and a bit quickly to the edges where it lingers for just a bit. No lacing and faint legs. Flavor is fairly malt forward with some toasted bread, caramel, dark biscuit and cracker notes. Medium high bitterness. Medium hop notes with a lot of grapefruit, hop resin and a bit of pine. Some light tropical fruit and citrus notes. Some lingering malt and bitterness in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent, clean IPA. It’s boring and too malt forward with lacking hop character though. Not sure how fresh this beer is.
