Sevje (sap) is a West Coast double IPA saturated with old-school, piney, and dank hop aromas and flavors from Columbus, Simcoe, and Citra hops. The beer is dry, bitter and light in color, as a West Coast DIPA should be, with the recognizable big hop character of the style.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Sevje West Coast Double IPA,from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 8.0%. Moderately hazy golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, birch sap and piney and resinous hops. The flavour is bitter and resinous throughout, also grapefruity notes, sufficient malts. A decent "old school" IPA.

Ha - realised I also had this 2 weeks ago, on 21st March picked up in Amsterdam from Sterk and now again in the garden, 7th April 26. Pours a clear golden. Taste is bitter, resinous, caramel decent and assertive

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of orange citrus, marmalade, piney resin, honeyed sweetness. Taste of orange, grapefruit, marmalade, caramel, very piney, resinous, herbal dankness, fairly assertive bitterness though I was expecting a little more at this strength. Medium bodied. Pretty good westie.

Can at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, grassy and metallic hops. Flavor also has a firm malty base with a lot of metallic bitterness. Dominates possible other flavors tbh. Overall alright but a bit one sided imo.

Can at home. Pours slightly hazy deep golden with dense white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, pine needles and notes of cookies. Tastes slightly sweet with more than balancing bitterness that gets stronger the more you drink - fantastic! Finally a brewer who remembers that hops are allowed to be used for bittering as well 😎. Dry mouth feel, bitter finish. Could not think of anything that should be improved with this beer!

440ml can bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. #917. Pours a stable white head over a next-to-clear orange coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Inviting smell of leafy hops and cereal malts. Well blended taste of ripe fruits and soft malts joined by a welcome bite of resinous bitterness to a rather long lived finish. Fine depth to it. Good drinking (Tromsø, 06.03.2026)

Can 440ml @ gunnfryd. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape and pine. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grape, pine and orange finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
