Welcome to Tuju’s mysterious Wild Barrel Series! Our second maritime voyage is a Bermuda Triangle–level enigma.
Sinister is a blend of golden ales, aged for 12 to 16 months in Chardonnay and red wine barrels with our house culture of Brettanomyces and lactic acid-producing bacteria, then dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Eclipse hops.
The flavors pull you into the depths, wrapping your palate like coiling tentacles with a tannic, bitter, and fruit-forward profile. A well-rounded mouthfeel and a surprisingly crisp finish make it ideal for immediate consumption, though it will evolve intriguingly in the cellar over time.
