Lionshead is a classic Standard American Lager Crisp, clean and slightly dry with some residual sweetness, it is as refreshing as it is thirst-quenching.
We use the finest American two-row and six-row barley and corn; domestic hops add just a touch of bitterness.

This is a pale lager for places that don’t want to serve InBev products and seem craftier. Slightly more taste than those two but not by much.

Notes from January 2011 $1 throw in at New Beer. Pint glass pour. Leftovers still bubbling away in my stomach. Mellow gold, weak whitewash head. Stuffy grain, surprisingly pungent herbage, saltwater. Mossy earth &... butter? Taste was steeped grains, Cheerios, sticky spilt lager, & middle of the road herbal hops. Glassy. Seems fresh. Less appealing adjuncts come through with time though. Drying, pale finish. Feel is frothy, decently carbed(maybe a little rough), no butter, can't complain. This beer isn't terribly filled of flaws, so why is everything they contract brew seem so awful?

Pours clear golden with little to no head. Aroma of sweetened malt. Taste has slightly sweetened malt, some very subtle grassy notes. Palate has not much beyond Pilsen malt, some breadiness.

Full 4 oz pour from a can at Spacebar, poured by DCLawyer. Thanks Jason, thanks. Took an ounce or so and poured the rest back into DCLawyer’s can. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of dish soap, corn, malt, wheat. Tastes of corn, wheat, malt. Light body with a dry finish.

12 ounce can. Let’s call a spade a spade. This is a cheap beer. At $8.00 for a 12 pack of 12 ounce cans, this is as inexpensive as it gets for a local brew. It looks good, a bright honey gold color with a clinging lace. It has a grainy malt nose. Thin bodied and lacking any real flavor. But it is easy to quaff and is still better than what the Mega Breweries have to offer. (A quick update: In May of 2021, it’s still $8.00 for a 12 pack at Laurenti’s Shop Rite Liquors In Mercerville, NJ.)
