Slightly hazy copper and amber coloured body with a nice bronze glow and a thin one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright hops, fairly light though, with some malt, caramel, toffee and a hint of metal. Light-bodied; Nice flavourful hops with a good herbal and dry, airy kick and some very light malt notes throughout with hints of caramel and sweetness at the end. Aftertaste fairly simplistic with a bit of the dry herbal hops showing through, and some good malt notes, while light, add a good balance. Overall, a fairly good light IPA with a nice flavour profile which makes for an easy drinking in the summertime! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 06-July-2013 for US$4.31 sampled at home in Washington after just flying back from Detroit a few hours ago, on 04-August-2013.

Bomber: Hazed copper with a frothy tan head. Pine, orange-peel aroma. Taste is malty, initially sweet, then a steady herbal/grassy bitter... Tea, caramel... Very mild....plain, but pleasant.

22 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 5/10/2013. Pours moderately cloudy orange copper color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of orange zest, grapefruit, lemon zest, tangerine, floral, grass, light pine, caramel, toast, biscuit, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of hop and malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, floral, pine, grass, caramel, toast, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, pine, grass, caramel, toast, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance and complexity of hop flavors; with a nicely balanced malt backbone that does not overpower the hops; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy, sticky, and moderately crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish as expected. Overall this is a damn nice session IPA! Well balanced and packed with plenty of hop and malt flavor for the ABV; and extremely smooth to drink. Really enjoyed this one.

22 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange amber with an off-white head. Pine, grapefruit, and orange citrus hops with a little pale malt in the aroma. Flavor hits similar notes, led by herbal pine hops and grapefruit hops with pale malt flavors. It’s solid.

Bomber. Pours a deep amber in color with a nice foamy off white head. Pretty light aroma; some citrus hops and caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt and some moderately bitter hops. Overall, its a nicely balanced IPA; but I would like more of a hop presence. I see there’s other Hatters out there. Time for me to find some of ’em!
