Pint in the Letchworth Spoons. Now this is more like it. A deep and rich colour in the glass and the taste was fabulous. Rich and earthy malts with a really oaky backbone. Proper beer

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Mahogany-brown with a thin beige head. Toffee, brazil nuts and chocolate with a woody note. Raisins and blackberries come through. Sweetish but with a drying finish. Decent stuff, I enjoyed this.

Dark brown with a tinge of red, a frothy / creamy light tan head and a soft nutty brown sugar aroma. Light bodied, sweet toffee malt, dark fruits, floral hops offer some moderate bitterness, finishes very dry with a hint of nuttiness and a touch bitter.
