We looked to acclaimed Chef José Andrés to help us create a Spanish take on the farmhouse style saison. The addition of Lemon Verbena, pink peppercorn, sumac, and dried lime infuse the chef’s distinctive flavors into the brew – an ale purposefully crafted to compliment all your culinary endeavors. Bottles. Cloudy yellow pour with white head. Lemon light pepper and a bit of yeast. A nice Saigon.

GABF 2015. Light copper color. moderate carbonation and a small head. A little spice. Dry, more peppercorn in the flavor, a little citrus and yeast.

Pour is a clear golden with a average white head. Aroma is a sure fire yeasty ester with lots of pepper on the backround. Flavor is more of the saison yeast, some maize like malt and then a hit of pepper. Another beer that hits all the saison aspects well. Plenty of yeasty esters with a nice hit of dry malt and pepper.

PDX Brewpub #3. Clear yellow amber. Farmy aroma. Spicy but clean citrus taste. Interesting but wouldn't get again.

22 Oz bottle poured, purchased at the Portland brewpub. Pours a dark orange color with a disappearing head. Lemon like aroma. Flavor is a lot of lemon, with an obvious peppercorn spice. Nice floral hints throughout. Unique for sure. Pretty good.

Draught on July 1, 2015. At the brewpub in Portland.Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, spicy, herbal taste. Spicy aftertaste, also banana. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, spicy scent.
