Deep dark brown colour, minimal creamy beige-ish head; aroma of prune, dried sour cherry, roasted nutty, rye bready, some cocoa, nutmeg and clove notes; taste is the same with some dried dates and figs; good one

12oz bottle, no date. Dark brown pour, too dark to see through. Agaonst the light looks a bit ruby brown and some more clarity. Aroma is relatively mild with a light spice coming off, light ginger cook is what I mostly get. A light pluminess after that with a cookie dough lightness to surround all of it. Flavor is smiliarly mild with present but light spices and a mild Belgian dark backbone. Not sweet, dry, more of a S/H/V than a Belgian really. The orange peel doesnβt really stand out for me.

12oz bottle. Pours with very little carbonation, very viscous brown body, thin non-head. A pretty awesome winter ale, captures some Belgian flavors without being a victim of out of control yeast. Some spiced edges, but mostly a big, rich, pleasant Belgian Brown. Sublime.

Iβd been holding onto the 2013 bottle for way too long, so it was time to drink it, even though it is in the height of Summer. Ah well. This one poured a medium brown color, touch of ruby notes, and a gigantic light tan head. I mean huge, even though it was served almost immediately out of the fridge. This one foamed like crazy. Once it settled (relatively quickly), it was ready to drink. Sweet molasses, dark brown sugar and notes of light spices. Flavor was nice easy to drink sweet molasses, toffee, with some light spices.
