Can courtesy of Kostas, Kykao brewery, cheers Kostas. Had this Saturday 14th February at the Manglham 2nd Winter Tasting listening to Anthony Szmierek - Service Station at the End of the Universe. Pours light lemony colour, hazy, nothing exciting but absolutely fine, refreshing and would be much better in the summer, straightforward but fine. Score 7.0

Can. Light murky golden. Onion cream soup. Sticky, pale, sweet, cream onions. Sticky.

Can at MR 2026, thx Fin! Hazy yellow body, off-white head, okay sized, medium retention. The aroma is NZ wild herb-forward, leaning on onions, some white grapes and citrus pop up underneath. Heavily oniony taste, backed by garlic, low citrus notes, dryish finish... Almost west coastish, and I'm not sure that was intentional. The beer isn't bad, it's just that the Nelson used wasn't the best Nelson, I guess.
