Pours dark-dark brown, with a thin, light brown, quickly diminishing head.
Nose is sweet, fruity, roasted malt. Flavor is not too strong, also roasted, with bit of caramel.
Low carbonation, nice and pleasant sweetish finish.

Deep brown with a tall, firm tan head. Big sweet malt notes, burnt sugar, caramelized sugar, chewy toffee, dark fruits, milk chocolate. Full and thick mouth. Finish is sweet and long on the deeply caramelized sugars and toffee. Big and bold. Hides the booze well though you know it’s a powerhouse. Definitely sweet. A good one.

Can at home. Brown color, red hue, medium sized beige / tan head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, caramelized sugars. Flavor is malts, sweetness, caramelized sugars again, sweetness. Very balanced. Low carbonation, medium body. Nicely sticky texture. Lovely.

Aus der Dose im 2026-02 getrunken. Diese dunkelbraune Ale kommt mit einer deutlichen Malzaromen und Karamelisierte Milch daher. Alles gefährlich süffig und wunderbar ausgewogen. Auch wenn man hier nicht typische Barley Wine Aromen findet ist dieses Ale ein wunderbares Ale.

Blik thuis geprobeerd. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout en caramel. De smaak is moutig, zacht zoet, basterdsuiker en romige karamel.
