Dark brown. No head. On the nose, some cocoa and a bit of dark toffee. The palate is richly burnt toffee, with some umami. Not the fullest body, but it does have a complex malt character. Moderate bitterness, but enough. They're doing something right, with that malt complexity.

355mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has toasted malt, dry cocoa, a touch of coffee, and earthiness. Flavour is fairly roasty, with deep roasted malt, some woodiness, dry cocoa, and even some hops to this. Deep roast, nice woodiness, balanced with potent hops. This is excellent.

Poured from 355mL bottle. Very dark brown with small tan head. Decent Mexican imperial stout, dark sugars, feint cocoa, roast, okay.

355mL bottle. Pours black with a small beige head. Bitter roasted malts and bread crusts on the nose. Flavour has bitter roasted malts, super woody, burnt bread crusts, burn caramel. This has an excellent malt profile, rich with lots of burnt sugars.
