A blend of two heavyweight imperial stouts, King Void and Goatsmoker - the latter being aged in whisky casks for 16 months to create Voidsmoker. The decadent body of King Void, with adjuncts of coffee, vanilla and cacao nibs blend seamlessly and round off the intensely smoked Goatsmoker, which has been aged in a mixture of Speyside (Craigellachie) and peated Islay (Laphroig) casks for 16 months, creating a blended imperial stout greater than the sum of its parts. Aromas of espresso, cooked meat, campfires and vanilla. 348 bottles only

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and hopy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Long heavy bitter fiish. Creamy palate.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, burnt toffee, smoke, berries, vanilla, taste is similar, sweet, fruity, dry finish, little thin. 8/9/8/8/8

Op tap bij Bierlokaal de Uiver. Zwarte kleur, dunne beige kraag. Drop, hout, warme alcohol van de whisky, licht rokerig, rozijntjes, gebrande mout, smaak is boozy, vrij dun, rokerige lijkt volledig verdwenen, misschien aanwezig in een hintje salmiak, vanille, koffie. Alle smaken zitter er wel in, maar ik had een dikkere rammer verwacht, en op meer Islay gehoopt. Alsnog lekker, maar niet top.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard. Rich nose of dark chocolate, plum pudding, bourbon, apple strudel, varnish. Taste is dark chocolate, bourbon, jammy dark fruits, smoke, coffee. Rich boozy warming sweet finish. Top notch.
