Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, citrus fruits, hops, and a bit of bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of citrus fruits, hops, roasted malt, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. 7/5/6/3/13

dark brown, smooth light brown head.
aroma is roasted malts, rye bread, pine and grapefruity hops.
flavor is roasted malts, mild bitter hops, the sequence is first bitter roasted malts, then flowery hops and sweet malts then hops bitterness and a lot of roasted malts bitterness in the end, far end is roasted malts and coffee.
nice soft mouthfeel.
Decent black IPA, very well done, still, something I can't really place is making it sort of mild or weak or somewhat boring. High quality, good flavor balance. but something is missing i think.
Normally I really dig black ipa's.
