Almond, vanilla & cocoa imperial pastry stout
They left the apple behind, for they had stumbled upon an almond bush and a cocoa shrub. And no harm came of it. The vanilla — well, that was our addition, of course, since we were there, naturally. Then the creator rested and hissed open a chalice of rich, sweet, and hearty liquid darkness. A good omen, that, at such times.

Tap at BeerGeek Bar with Gurthnar. Pitch black body, off-white head. Soft, grainy, malty aroma, the adjunct not pushing through particularly much. Chocolate (cocoa nibsish) and light vanilla in the smooth, bit citric taste, ending dry, just lighty astringent. Actually quite okay, kinda liked it, but didn't thrill.
