Light caramel and some peat malt. Some scotch vibe like ranting about the stone of Scone. Dark brown pour with decent head. Bittersweet finish with some acrid barrel vibe. Tap at brewery.

Humdrum Scotch ale, hitting all the expected notes but not really doing anything interesting with any of them. Toffee-caramel malts lead to a slight bitter finish, pretty much like every other unremarkable Scotch ale. Expected more from Yazoo.

Keg at Mellow Mushroom Johnson City. Pours a clear amber with a medium sized creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toffee, dark fruit, caramel, mild bitter finish. The taste is dark fruits, toasted malts, bits of caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Draft at the source. Clear amber color, bright white edge head. Aroma of lightly burned caramel. Taste is toasty caramel and butterscotch. Decent.
