Frothy white head in an unclear golden coloured body. No aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a watery finish. Pale malt, light fruit, grain & Alka Seltzer tastes. Poor.

Cask at the Agricultural, Penrith. Lightly hazed deep gold colour with a white head. Smoothish, sweetish, bland. A bit of dusty caramel, some digestive biscuit, some generic fruit. Really dull, but easy to drink I guess.

Bottle from Ambleside Wines, Ambleside. Golden with a head. It has a decent pale ale aroma, but fails to follow through in taste with just a bland hoppiness available.

Handpull cask at the Watermill Inn, Ings. Light gold, clear with the tiniest ring of white head and a bit of lacing. Grain and grapefruit notes and well as some floral touches on the nose. Pleasant sweetish taste, more floral notes, some white grape. Fairly short finish with some bitter citrus peel on the aftertaste. Simple and decent.

On cask at Watermill, Ings - Pale yellow body, thin white top. Nose was lemon and melon, but struggled to pick anything else out as all I could smell was fresh batch of hops being mashed at the brewery at the back. Refreshing taste, crisp and dry at the end. Not bad.
