Bottle shared. Opaque dark brown color, red glare coming through. Small beige head. Aroma is malts, chocolate malts, brown malts. Flavor is malts, brown malts, dusty chocolaty notes, cocoa powder, sweetish a bit. Okay. Original review text: Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Almost black colored beer with a deep dark red to almost purple glow coming through when held into the light. Medium sized tan head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell malts, caramel, leaves, slightly raisins and slightly chocolate. Taste malts, caramel, again leaves, some sweet-bitter. Medium body and carbonation.

Als "Chocolate Bock" mit identischen "Leistungsdaten" erworben und verkostet...
Kräftig dunkelbraune bis beinahe tiefschwarze Optik. Die hellbraune, feinporige bis cremige Schaumkrone hinterlässt einen flaumigen und mäßig gut haltbaren Eindruck. Wie zu erwarten, vernimmt man in der Nase kräftige Röstmalznoten von dunkler Schokolade, Kakao und zartem Mokka. Leicht trockene Hopfenherbe schwingt dabei mit. Der Antrunk kommt breit und röstig malzig, sowie süßlich bis röstig herb. Die Noten von dunkler Schokolade, Kakao und zartem Mokka wirken dabei sehr gut. Im Mund zeigt sich ein Körper mit guter Fülle, feiner Rezenz, samtiger bis cremiger Textur, leichter Süße und sehr zarter Trockenheit. Geschmacklich und aromatisch bleibt es selbstverständlich absolut röstmalzaromatisch mit Noten von dunkler Schokolade, Kakao, zartem Mokka, zarten, reifen, roten Früchten, leichter Malzsüße und angenehmer Röstmalzherbe. Ein unfassbar harmonisches, rundes, vielfältiges Gesamtbild - dicht bis leicht komplex, aber sehr gut zu fassen und überraschend leichtgängig. Im langlebigen Nachtrunk passieren die Noten von Schokolade, Kakao, reifer Beerenfrucht und zarttrockener Herbe revue.
Mein Fazit: Ein wunderschönes Dessertbier, welches sich mit diversen Schoko-Nuss-Desserts pairen lässt, aber auch solo auf ganzer Linie zu überzeugen weiß.

bottiglia 75 cl, schiuma color cappuccino fine persistente, colore marrone intenso quasi nero, al naso è intensa caffè malto tostato cacao caramello note di affumicato, in bocca è perfettamente equilibrata caffè cioccolato amaro malto frutti di bosco leggero liquirizia e vaniglia, corpo medio, watery, alcool perfettamente bilanciato, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato, Scorrevole gustosa equilibrata. An interesting serie of Maisel and this one was the right option before to sleep. A smooth chocolate stout, on the English way, smooth side of roasted malt, brown chocolate, vanilla, malty, discreet side of hop at the final, 30.05.2021

0.75 l bottle shared with friends. Deep brown coloured with beige head. Malts, roasted malts and strong chocolate in aroma. Bitter and sweet chocolate and roasted malts in taste withc chocolate finish. Soft carbonation, creamy mouthfeel, medium body. Nice.

Aroma of dark malts, chocolate, nuts, cappuccino. Flavour is toasty, chocolate, sweet, with a little bitterness in the finish. Very enjoyable and easy to drink.

Bottiglia. Al naso arrivano sentori di cioccolato. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è discreto. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al palato si percepiscono note di caramello, miele, crosta di pane, cioccolato, caffè, liquirizia, nocciole tostate, frutta secca e agrumi.
