5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light chocolate, malt. roast. Flavor was similar. Light bittersweet notes. Probably one of the better ones I had here.

Keg at Smoky Mountain Turkey Creek, 16/02/15. Dark chestnut brown with a moderate light beige head that retains well. Nose is caramel, nutty, vanilla, toasted brown sugars. Taste comprises pecan nut, caramel, toffee, sweet licks, malt tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre porter lacks both depth and direction.

Black pour with a tan head. Rich aroma of chocolate, roast malt, coffee. Rich flavor that follows the aroma. Some dryness in the finish. Very nice.

Bottle. Slightly sweet chocolate malt and roasty nutty malt. Smells more like a good brown ale than a porter. Deep chestnut with a small beige head. Chocolate, caramel, and a little charred malt flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not really to style, but still very enjoyable.

A brown porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet murkey chocolate, light coffee, not bad. In mouth, a sweet nutty chocolate with off notes. On tap at Calhoun’s on the River, Oct. 22 2011.
