0,75 l swing top bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. BB 29.04.2026. Cloudy mid golden in the glass, huge white foamy head. Soft malty and caramel on the nose. Taste starts sweet fruity alcoholic. Malt and caramel in the second row. Present hop bitterness. Little bit above average carbonated. Still a Heller Bock ...

Classic-style Maibock. Maibock is not my favorite kind of Bock but this one is good. Soft hop profile, malty bread, clean and fresh (like my hair). Named after the year the original version of the brewery shut down. This current incarnation came 35 years

DBB '72, 75-cl-Flasche aus Tausch mit Pivnizub - danke, Günther! - Orangegold, schwach trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase bocktypisch fettes helles Malz, Kandissüße und angedickte zitronige Hopfung, eher Zitronat als Zitronenschale. - Antrunk fett hellmalzig mit süßlicher Zitrone von mäßiger Herbe. Satte malzige Tiefe trägt die bocktypisch mächtige Malzsüße mit Anklängen an Honig, die gleichwohl auf Dauer zu prominent ist. Milder rezent, mastig. Im Abgang gedämpfte Herbe und mehr Zitronat. - Fett hellmalziger Bock, zwar wie angekündigt hopfenbetont aber etwas eindimensional und letztlich nicht bitter genug um die prominente Süße aufzufangen. Dennoch eine gültige Bock-Interpretation. (28.1.2023.)

Swing top bottle. Blonde. Malt and a hint of peach in the aroma. Soft floral notes. Full bodied. Malty sweetish flavor, slightly alcoholic. Floral flavor with soft citric notes. Oily mouthfeel. Hint of cardboard. Powerful.

On tap at ’Bergmann Kiosk’. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, tan to white head. Faint, sweetish-malty aroma of honey, caramel, straw and some orange peel. Sweetish-malty taste of honey, caramel and some straw, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally grassy finish. Medium body, creamy and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Heller, süßlich alkoholischer Antrunk, hell malzig. Das Bier bleibt ziemlich süß, was erstaunlicherweise kaum stört. Leichte Herbe, später bitter angehaucht. Gelungen. 11/10/7/8/8/8

Moderate sweet malty, quite fruity (almost like fruit ice cream), alcohol and mild spices with noticable alcohol in the finish as well. A bit too fruity for me.

[ As DBB Bergmann 1972 ].Unclear matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, grass - silage, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, vegetables, silage - green grass - herbs, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140809]
