Can (2/19/26) from the brewery. Opaque, banana smoothie yellow, tons of sparkle, thin head with good retention, splotchy, soapy lacing. Aroma is strong, sweet white grape and peach, lesser grapefruit. Taste follows aroma with addition of malty backbone stronger than grapefruit. Smooth texture, medium bodied, soft carbonation, vestige of alcohol astringency at the back of the mouth but no heat, no flavor, no taste, no harshness.

Canned 2/19/26, drunk 3/31/26. Thanks to tfontana, as always!
Peacharine seems prominent here, unfortunately. Adding its heavy floral peach component. Almost no Galaxy. No chalk, earth, pine, big sprucey spice. Bit of white wine, though it's drenched in peach. Really hope peacharine and nectaron are just a flash in the pan. Sweet, a bit punchy, with big fat malts, yet no alcohol. It's as if Fidens brewers are proclaiming, "Whatever becomes of this beer, it WILL NOT be boozey." Ok. Gettin a bit more Nelson as it warms/breathes, thankfully.
Less sweet and malt-forward than the nose suggests. I think a lot of that sweet aroma is the lactones from the Peacharine (though I couldn't tell you if Nelson or Galaxy are high in them, but peacharine always seems a big offender). Offender in this case, since the malts already seem ample enough without a bunch of creamy-sweet peach character. But the Galaxy does its job, drying the shit out of everything, with light earth, a touch of sprucey-pine, but otherwise doesn't run rampant. Bitterness is evident, as is proper attenuation. No alcohol, of course. Yet again, they seem to have crafted an 8.8% abv (let's say) DIPA that incidentally has 2.0% more alcohol in it. Flabbergasting. But hey, nice job masking the alcohol.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you for carrying this back from Albany. This round of Fidens has really won me over! Aroma is stronger citrus, mild white grape, mild herb. Flavor follows with a smooth, pillow- like mouthfeel. ABV is yet again, very well-hidden. Don’t get me wrong, SUPER drinkable. It is a little bit on the sweet side with the huge malt bill.

Pours a hazy, chalky banana color, with minimal head. Aroma is citrus and tropical fruit, with some green onion/garlic upfront. Flavors all follow. Soft mouthfeel. Mild level of hop bitterness running through the finish.
