Bottle @ home picked up at Aggie Liquor in Fort Collins. Pours a clear, dark golden appearance with a white head that doesn’t have the best retention. Fairly earthy, floral hoppy aroma with a bit of spice and grains. The rye comes through with a fair amount of spiciness in the flavor. Fairly grainy, herbal, moderately fruity flavor with a dry, herbal, earthy finish. Ehhh ok. New Belgium just hasn’t been able to come through with a great lager yet, unfortunately.
