A German "Dunkel" (dark) brewed as a Lager with Two Row Malt, Munich Malt and some Roasted Malts. Spiced up with German Hops from the Hallertau and a German Lager Yeast gives this Brew a nice dunkel (dark) color and some Malt sweetness with a nice finish of balanced Hops and a little chocolaty taste for the finish.

Sampled at the 2014 Untapped festival in Fort Worth. Pours a very hazy brown with a slight amber hue and a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is mainly notes of dark grains and dark bread. Flavor has the same dark grains and dark bread notes with a hint of bitter coffee underlying.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a dark ruby color with a small frothy lght tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and dark fruit. Good sticky lacing on the glass. The taste a watery roasted malt with a sweet finish. A good dunkel.

On tap. Pours a dark brown near black body with a smallish, thick light brown head. Good lacing left behind. Aroma of nuts, toasted malts. Taste is burnt malts and some chocolate. Light bubbles and a creamy mouthfeel. Glad to see a North Texas craft beer but there wheat/hefe is much better.
