Our saison is a pale gold-colored farmhouse-style ale. We use a traditional yeast strain and Continental hops that in combination imbue an aroma with a mild spiciness tempered with fruit. The beer is medium-bodied, with a slight acidity. It is effervescent and dry, with an edge of bitterness that balances the fruitiness of the aroma. A yeast-derived refreshing, spicy ale.

Draughht @ the brewpub. Pours hazy lightish amber with small white head. Clear aroma of hops, citrus and fruit, with malty touches. Bitter, hoppy flavour with fruity and funky notes, ending slightly salty. Bitterish and funky aftertaste. Agreeable and decent for the style but not top notch.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a hazy golden color, with a small white head. Aroma was notes of light sweet malt, some yeast in there. Flavor was light fruits, some grain, and a touch of spicy yeast. Okay.

Cherry, apricot, lemon zest, and funk nose. Clear amber, thin head. Apricot, pear, and must flavor. Alcohol pretty noticeable, medium body. Strong, fruity. I prefer, lighter, funky, and herbal. Good, though.

Draft at the brewery, 6/20/14. Pours a clear golden color with a thin frothy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of spice, yeast, citrus, stone fruits, herbal hops. The taste is stone fruit, cherry, spice, yeast, bready malts. Medium bodied, high carbonation, lingering spice, good balance.
