Bottle from the cellar, a week passed expiration. Gold with a frothy, white head of modest duration. Metallic aroma with overtones. Taste is bitter and oddly tart at the finish. Faint vinegar. Body to the light side of medium, prickly carbonation. Maybe it was once better?

0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Clear golden in the glass with a nearly two finger white foamy head. Grainy caramel aroma, little bit grassy. Taste starts smooth grainy with caramel, grassy. Low but present bitter hop. Above average carbonation. Standard Southern German Helles. Nothing wrong.

500 ml bottle as Fischers Handhalbe Spezial Hell. Clear golden with a foamy head. Sourdough, grassy hops, lard, hay. Mild dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry finish. It’s a decent Helles.

NRW-Fläschle (Díky do Bodámského jezera!): Pale golden with a greenish sheen, clear, small persistent head, visible carbonation, moderate sweetish grainy-dusth to pale-malty nose, some uncertain herbal hops floating around in the background; mild to moderate more sweet than bitter flavour, medium bodied, both soft and a bit sticky; mild sweetish-grainy finish with a very low balancing bitterness in the aftertaste. Yes, drinkable...
