Man, from a pounder can, this makes one beautiful rolling pour with a big fat creamy rolling head, very attractive. Reminds me of a rootbeer float. Olfactory is mild pleasant coffee, not bad, no burnt nose what so ever. Taste is better than expected, not cloying and its fairly mellow for a near 6% brew. Not harsh. Good level of co2 when drank right from the can but when gently poured into the glass, it loses much of its carbonation and goes nearly flat. Overall a pretty good coffee stout experience naggy! So many coffee beers are harsh and in yer face, this is not.

Pour is a near black with a large foamy tan head. Aroma is great. Loads of black coffee and chocolate. Flavor is a little less stellar. Some coffee and chocolate are there but this has a real thin and watery mouthfeel. Finish leaves some sweetness on the tongue. Still worth a try it only for the aroma.

Can. A- Bland, cocoa. A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, tan head. T- Slightly metallic, roasty, subtle coffee, watery. P- Medium body, slightly thin texture, average carbonation, watery finish. O- I love Autocrat coffee milk syrup so I was really hoping this would use a lot of that syrup to make a disgustingly sweet and faux coffee flavor similar to the coffee milk I occasionally enjoy in the morning. This definitely wasn't that. A let down for sure.

3 week old pint can A: Black pour with dirty reddish brown highlights and a tall thick pillowy tan head. Dogged retention and sheets of lace. S: Strong roast coffee with a hint of cream and dark toasted grain. T: Roasty, toasty and bitter with coffee out front then chocolate, cream and nice tart fruity notes whether from hops or coffee beans. M: Medium weight with active carbonation and a smooth ashy texture. O: Balanced well developed flavors and they used restraint with the lactose. Plus, six pints for $10 is a great bargain. Very nice.

Very dark brown pour with a light tan head. It smells of dark roast malt and coffee. The roasted malt flavor has some noticeable coffee notes and a roasty finish. It's medium bodied and pretty good, if nothing special.

Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aroma of toasted coffee beans. Taste has thin roasted malt elements, slightly herbal, watery. Palate has dark cappuccino, continuation of the roasted malt. Eh.
